Hi,
I just started working on a blog software similar with WP (or at least this are my intentions) because I noticed some features I would like to have.
I must agree WP is a nice piece of software, but I lost a lot of time looking for plugins and solutions to my requests.
WordPress has thousands of features, 99% I do not need, but I am worry for the 1% that I do not have or I do not know how to implement.
Soon you’ll see WordPress certified engineers in your offices …
So, I started to wrote my own Blog software. Strange.
I do not realize at the moment how hard this can get, but I guess I will find out soon enough.
The reason I posted this is to kindly ask anybody about features you will like included in the blog software I am writing.
If any suggestions, please comment below.

Installation

1. If you don’t have a /my-plugins/ directory in your bbpress installation,
create it on the same level as config.php.
2. Upload the file into /my-plugins/ directory
3. Also edit your .htaccess according with the included model.

Last year I was confronted with the need of creating dynamic pdf documents from PHP, so I stared to look for a class/pre-built PDF library.
I found out that I need to install the PDFLib (see http://www.php.net/pdf), I was supposed to compile it for my server,but on a shared hosting I could not do it. Couple more searches on Google an I noticed the R&OS pdf class (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdf-php/)
It is a simple option, and it will allow you to create simple PDF documents from PHP.
The class works fine, and one can create additional functions to incorporate more functionality as needed.
I strongly recommend it to anyone looking to fast results.
With your download you also get few fonts that you can use with this class, but you can create more starting from your favorite windows TTF.
